Frankfurt is also a top destination for medical research and biological sciences. Frankfurt has a temperate climate typical of Germany, with cold winters and warm summers. The summer is between June and August, where temperatures average around 19°C. January and March months show the coldest winter months.

Pharmacy

Nursing

In UK, recent studies have shown that 10,000 nursing posts are being filled gradually in 2015.This represented a 3% rise  every year from 11% in 2013,14% in 2014 and 17% in 2015 of all London nursing positions and 10% as an average nationwide. In US nursing demand growth rate from 2008 to 2018, as reported by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, is anticipated to be 22%, or 2.12% annually.

Neuroscience

Technavio's analysts forecast the global neurodegenerative diseases market to grow at a CAGR of 4.77% over the period 2014-2019. The global neurodegenerative therapeutics market is valued as $16,828m in 2010, and grew from $11,055m in 2002 with a Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of 5.4%The 2015 Nature Index lists the Max Planck Society among the top five institutions in the world for natural sciences. Over 3,400 doctoral students conduct research in the Max Planck Society and the new support structure for research will cost around 50 million euros per year.

Vaccines

In the pharmaceuticals industry, majorly vaccine is among the leading industries in Frankfurt, Germany. Cancer

The worldwide market for cancer drugs and therapeutics has reached $100 billion in annual sales, and is expected to reach $147 billion by 2018, according to a new report by the IMS Institute for Healthcare Informatics. Recent data estimates that Europe spends more on cancer drugs as a percentage of total spending on medicines than other countries.

Engineering

In Germany, engineering sector has a high export ratio of 62%. Including the MPI for Plasma Physics, the Max Planck institute for Biophysics is financed to approximately 1.8 billion euros in 2016. In addition, third-party funding contributed to basic financing.
