There are 20 research centres in Catalonia i.e. the Capital of Barcelona and40 research centres in Spain.169 research and development projects are established in 183 Spanish companies and 147 contracts are signed between the universities, companies and research centres for these projects. Since 2013, CAGR (compound annual growth rate) for International collaboration of brain and neuroscience research was 1.5% in Spain and Researchers from US and European countries together published higher than 70% of the research.

Market Analysis for Nursing –

Increase in the number of professionals job for nursing staff was 4.98% over 2007-2009. The mean rate of people assigned for each nursing professions were 1624. The statistics for number of nurses on per 1000 population were 5.2 in 2012 and 3.6 in 2000. 73% funded from public sources and 9.4% of GDP was accounted for total health spending in Spain, 2011. There are 12 funding organization for nursing in Spain. There are 10 number hospitals in Barcelona, 804 hospitals in Spain and 315 National Health System hospitals. There was gradual increase in the nursing care and funding from past 5 years.

Market Analysis for Pharmacology-

Spain spent almost $17.4 billion on Research and development in 2013 and Spain’s medical devices space according to the Global Data was relatively $7.1 billion in 2008 and increased to approximately $8.5 billion in 2013, at a CAGR (Compound Annual Growth rate) of 3.4%. It is supposed to be increasing $12 billion by 2020, with expecting 5% of CAGR. Total 13 pharma/biotech companies are in Barcelona and 47 in the Spain.

Market Analysis for Chemistry-

Spain is well known for the chemicals industry and Fertilizers and it reporting a CAGR of 9.1% in the year of 2004-2008. The total earning of Spanish chemicals market was $24.2 billion in 2008. There are total 185 companies showing approximately 19.8% of all investments in research and development in Spain. Market value of Agro-chemicals and pesticides grows 3% in Spain in 2013 and it expected to increase 1% CAGR through 2019 by continuing growth of export of organic sources. The estimated GDP was 1.4% in 2012 and fell through -1.7% in 2013.

More than 40% foundations are funding for engineering and technology in Spain. Spain has one of the top ranks in the world in there architecture. Market value for architectural and engineering services drop down by 8% over 2006-2012.  Bulldozers market growth at CAGR of 4.09% within the period of 2014-2019 and 24% expansion of industry turnover expected within the 2013-2018.
